The nearest I can find is where it says that it will install *GRUB* to the first *drive*.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;The installer should keep existing partitions (barring bugs), but it uses free space, not empty partitions, so you should delete your empty partition with some other tool before running the installer.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;FFS can't be read from Windows.
