If anyone is wondering about www.aros-exec.org being down, I remember 4play sending out an e-mail recently saying there would be some issues with the DNS, but it will be up again shortly afterward. The message on the official AROS web site reads like this:
"Due to a change of IP address, our community's website aros-exec.org is temporarily down. We apologize for that. The website, its forum and services will be back around March 29th, better and stronger than before."

WinAros Light was released a couple days ago. I meant to post about this the other day, but missed my opportunity. It was posted on OSNEWS.com here. WinArosLight is a preinstalled AROS on a HD image, that runs under Windows using QEmu. You can download WinAros Light at the AFA web site. If you don't want to use Linux to develop for AROS, this may be a good alternative since you can run it in Windows.

m0ns00n has started to write his own blog about his AROS experiences. I love his enthusiasm and I enjoyed his first post. He has also released the second version of his paint application LunaPaint. Be sure to check back at his site in the future for more updates.
I have just started the interview process with m0ns00n and I should have that interview for you in the very near future.

A very good discussion on the organization of AROS is in the AROS-exec.org forum. An idea stemmed from this to start a monthly donation for AROS sponsored by Team AROS. This is a wonderful idea and I hope it gives AROS a big push forward!
