There is a lot of interest shown in running AROS on Via EPIA mini-itx based systems. The mini-itx is really cool because it makes a very small computer. Check out mini-itx.com for more information. As far as AROS supporting these boards. Rinnan has tried it on a VIA Epia MII12000. He made a small list of features that work or don't work.
- No video problems, but no native driver. AROS is still very quick on the VESA 2.0 driver however, no window shearing while moving opaque windows, for example.
- VIA Epia's use RhineII chipsets for LAN, which are not yet supported.
- No sound either unfortunately, unless I'm doing something wrong. Sound is this creature "VT8233/A/8235/8237 AC97 Audio Controller", which doesn't seem to be supported yet.
So more drivers need to be written to support this board. Hopefully someone will get to these in the near future. It would make for an awesome machine!
In other news, further discussion about porting GTK2 to Zune has been going on. The progress is summed up nicely in this thread on Aros-exec.org.

AC97 is a standard and not a chipset. As such, VIA AC97 supports or not the same features than Intel AC97, which is supported by AROS-AHI, like the NForce one is.
