Adam Chodorowski has suggested how to get AROSTCP going in a Linux hosted environment. Here is the quote:
"I haven't tested this, but you should be able to get AROSTCP going in hosted by using the hosted PCI driver and then the regular NIC driver for your card. For this to work you need to run AROS as root, and you need an extra NIC in the computer which isn't used by Linux (you must NOT have a linux driver loaded for it). Then you can use AROSTCP just like on native."

It has been suggested that BitTorrent be ported to AROS. It appears that Python in AROS will need to be updated before this can happen. Python is already ported, it just needs updated to add AROSTCP support. It would be nice if someone could do this, because they could actually kill two birds with one stone.

On a side note, an interview with AROS Developer Adam Chodorowski is coming soon to The AROS Show!

Lately I have been working on a web site for AROS-Exec.org. This will be a file area for AROS software. To speed things up, I used the code from the old GetBoinged.org web site. It was a file area for Aminet and Amiga DE a couple years ago. See the July 17th post on The AROS Show. Damir Sijakovic and Paul Cardwell have helped out. I'll tell you more later, so stay tuned.
